Please can you advise me of the original RM fleet number of this vehicle. Reg.No. EDS247A I am attempting to update my photo records, having obtained another photo of this vehicle in the same place on a different day. Thanks.

Wilmington was a good run ashore, one of the few highlights of a b...... awful commission. The saying is your last ship was always the best, not Invincible! I was the WOM on her and left her in 1990.

Maintained this ship whilst in Chatham RSU 1979 . They were cramped I remember . Very popular with old hands . I feel the navy could have done more with this class of ship .

John, great photos all round : I remember you on the first commision of the "Glamorous Organ" - a great time. One wee point, the submersible is TOKEN, not TOTEM. I was sent back to Blighty on TOKEN ("for experience") and later ended up on ZULU for 4 years. So suffered on all three. TOTEM was sold to the Israeli Navy, left her mascot totem pole behind in DOLPHIN and disappeared early 1968 in the Eastern Med' with all hands. Legend had it that the RN steaming crew refused to board at Blockhouse due to near-neutral byouancy of the Sub.

I have really enjoyed your slide show. I like london transport in its heyday. efficient safe and unfourntunatley will never return to our streets. I lived in Harrow with buses from HD garage. RLH's on the 230 route and RT's. one particular RT4760 I remember well with its GB plate at the rear. thank you Michael Still

Hi...i must congratulate you by posting the SHIP album...excuse me about my english....i'm chilean...so you should understand... My dad was a member of the chilean navy and he served aboard DLG14 Latorre (ex-HMS19 Glamorgan) at near 1988-1990...the same ship you served about 20 years before...always i'm searching for pics of Glamorgan and other ships ex-RN that served later in the Chilean Navy...so i was very glad when i sought your pics about Glamorgan, HMS Antrim (DLH12 Cochrane in the Chilean Navy) and HMS Ariadne (PF09 Baquedano in the Chilean Navy)...sadly all of them have been decomissioned and, Latorre and Baquedano have been sunk. So finally, i'm glad to know a man who served aboard the same ship than my father....but in service for another country.... I'll be happy if you could post more pics of this ships... Thanks...Bye
